Bakkiam Teacher Memorial Social Development Organization is a not-for-profit organization. It was established in the year 1996, by a donor who is interested in promoting a Trust to run a technical educational institution and to do soical activities.
The trust strives to help the human population by providing the education to the children, technical training to the youth, self-employment support for families, help for the needy, etc.
The organization is promoted as a trust to do social activities for economic and social development of communities and the country.
The activities of the trust is being conducted and managed by an Autonomous Board of Trustees.
Our Projects
We have completed or in the process of completing the following projects:
- Procured and donated furniture for school
- Provided scholarships for technical education
- Flood relief for familes affected by heavy rains
- Mentoring and support for first generation degree achievers
- Funds for the destitute poor and elderly
